What Clan should I be?

All new members will be an Initiate for a period of time to last no less then one month. There are two reasons for this extended time as a “Ghoul.” The first reason is to give the new member and the Covenant time to decide if both Covenant and member are right for each other. The second reason is to allow the new member a period of time to pick the type of vampire he wishes to be. There are several (14) clans a ghoul can pick from, and this can be overwhelming if he has not had time to learn a little about each clan. Before a new member can become a full member, he must find a clan and be accepted into it.

How are you supposed to pick a clan? Well the first rule in selecting a clan is that you want to pick a clan that you feel like playing. Suggested skills are just that, suggestions. For example Ventrue tend to be warriors, but if you are playing a mage, and you decide you want to be a Venture, generally the clan will accept you. If you just have no idea what type of vampire you should pick, here is a tool that may help you make the decision. First ask yourself what type of UO character you have.

Next ask yourself how you like to role-play the character in question. Do you have a bad temper? Do you see your character as a deformed monster? Do you have good leadership skills and see yourself as a commander? Are you better then everyone and feel you are part of the Vampiric Ruling Class?
