Post Rules of the Covenant Reply with quote

1 Respect fellow Covenant members and our allies/”enemies” regardless of their rank out of character at all times.

2 Stay in character at all times. There are special OCC areas we can go to if we need to talk OOC, but those private areas become In Character areas if someone who is not a member of the Covenant is present. Out of Character conversations should be on Icq or in the party system.

3 Ghouls can be treated poorly and should expect such treatment in character. Stay in character, and this treatment should NEVER cross over into OOC conversations or actions.

4 Follow the chain of command, if someone is higher rank then you, listen to them and do as they say. If you disagree with what they say, do it anyway and bring it up with a guild founder. Common sense should come into play here, if someone tells you to give them a check for 1,000,000 gp, use your own judgement.

5 Ranks do transfer across stones. If you are a Templar in the COV and a Bishop in the COS tells you to do something, you are to follow his orders.

6 Play your rank. If you have a character on one stone that is a Bishop and you are playing a Ghoul on the other stone, you are a ghoul when you are on with that character.

7 If a fellow member is in trouble (died in a dangerous place, pk’s killing him, etc) you should do what you can to help him.

8 If someone who is in the Covenant or an ally/”enemy” insults you or does something wrong to you, you do Not have the right to take matters into your own hands. You can defend yourself, but you are to leave the area as quickly as you can. You are then to report the situation to the highest ranking member who is on at the time. If they can not handle it, it will be passed up to the Covenant founders and will be dealt with. (The exception is if both members are in the Covenant and the offended party is higher rank, you may stand in judgement over the subordinate member, just remember it will probably be reviewed by a clan founder at a future date).

9 All new members to the Covenant must go through a period of time as a Ghoul. This time will be at least one month, longer for others if they are not ready to be embraced.

10 Members with the Uo guild title of Emissary can and should kick out members who break the rules of a serious nature, speak with a founder first if they are on, if not impose disciplinary actions immediately.

11 Guild resources will be stored in the Covenant storage house. The only members who will be friended there will be high ranking members who have permission to give out guild resources. Use good judgement!

12 Covenant members must attend at least one Covenant event per month to remain active. If they do not satisfy their requirements, they will start losing rank and be a Templar with the guild status of Ronin.

13 Dress code:
All members must wear an article of clothing either black or shadow black
Only Bishops or above are allowed to wear red Obi’s or half aprons
Only Cardinals may wear the blood red robes with black half apron or Obi

14 Common sense rule. If anyone does something that warrants disciplinary action that is not covered by these rules, disciplinary actions will incur. There are no loop holes.

15 Have fun.
