Covenant Mortuary

If you have found the fortress known as the Covenant Mortuary, then that means the Covenant of Sabbat wishes for you to be there. The exact location of the Mortuary is hidden by powerful magic and unless they want you there, you will likely not find it.

First Floor

The first floor of the Covenant Mortuary is the kill floor for any invading force. As the enemy rushes across the floor, they will likely meet with flaming arrows, powerful spells and boiling lead raining down from above. On the north side of the room, behind a strong iron gate, is the crypt room. Here the Covenant of Sabbat slumber the day away as their ghoul guards watch over them. On the western most back wall you will find a staircase leading to the roof.

Second Floor

The second floor of the Covenant Mortuary is not accessible from the staircase on the west wall. This room is the Control Room of the Covenant Mortuary. Archers and Mages stand here, ever vigilant of attack. They are always peering over the balcony awaiting any sign of trouble. Just because you do not see them, does not mean they are not there!

Roof

The roof of the Covenant Mortuary is home to the crypts of Nigel and Rajendra. This is also the last line of defense against invading forces. If the attackers manage to get this far, the warriors of the Covenant of Sabbat must stop them or all is lost. If the attackers are able to overpower the Vampiric defenders and find the hidden staircase down to the Control Room the battle has probably been lost.

Dungeon

The Dungeon of the Covenant Mortuary is equally horrific to ally and enemy alike. This area is off limits to everyone except Toren, of clan Tzimisce. No one is allowed to enter into his territory without Toren’s permission. Toren spends months on end down here experimenting with mortals he has captured and brought here. Their screams can be heard echoing throughout the nearby land and across the waves of the ocean behind the Covenant Mortuary. Secluded behind the main room is the shrine to Celeste, Toren guards her remains even more ferociously then his own Dungeon. So interloper be ware, if you enter this area, be prepared to become a piece of un-living furniture, it has happened before...
